Ha. Yall aren’t shot of me and promotion YET.

This week I’ve written stuff about and others have written reviews of Sex & Violence and it’s all here in a handy list, courtesy of Heather at The Flyleaf Review, in case you need it. (Why would you need it? Oh, I don’t know. I know I needed it. Heather is lovely.)

First up is The Midnight Garden, where Wendy Darling reviews the book, and then lets me talk about writing scenes of fictional sex and violence as well.

Second, if you live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, Laura Ruby and I will be doing a reading at the Loft Literary Center on Sunday, November 17th, at 2 pm in the afternoon. Perfect time for you to sleep in, have your hangover breakfast and then haul your carcass downtown for a little CULTURE.

Laura Ruby is the author of Bad Apple, Play Me and Good Girls. And that’s just her Young Adult list! She has a whole set of other books you can learn about here.

We’re going to talk about sex and violence in this reading, but it won’t get prurient. It’s free and open to the public. And I think there will be snacks. Because, of course.

Would you like to see my new fabulous eyebrows? Unfortunately, they are accompanied by a photo of me where I look like I’m tying a damsel to the train tracks. It’s kind of evil. But it’s at least in focus.

It’s on record that I am a TERRIBLE photographer. And I hate being the subject of photographs. But the brows! I had to SHARE.

Those brows are DIVINE (and your caption made me laugh!) And you only look all dastardly because of that weird light/ shadow thing going on in the pic. 🙂
