I’ve had puppies who were frightened of grass at first – WEIRDER – and also linoleum. Any new surface was scary, for a time.

My sister’s dog, who is a sleeper agent, a 007 dog who kills squirrels and then turns around wagging and looking goofy and guiltless and who is scared of nothing, who would drive your car if you let him – is scared of FLIES.
